JLL Appoints Matt Bennion as Asia Pacific Head of Project and Development Services

JLL (NYSE: JLL) today announced the appointment of Matt Bennion as Head of Project & Development Services (PDS) for Asia Pacific, effective immediately. Based in Singapore, Bennion will lead the strategic direction and operational execution of JLL’s APAC PDS business, ensuring alignment with global PDS objectives and regional Real Estate Management Services goals.

Bennion brings more than 30 years of global leadership experience in the built environment sector, with deep expertise spanning project management, construction, and business transformation. His appointment reinforces JLL’s commitment to delivering innovative, client-focused solutions across one of the world’s most dynamic commercial real estate markets. Bennion succeeds Martin Hinge, whose retirement was announced in October 2025.

Most recently, Bennion served as Founding Owner and CEO of Thrive-AI, an intelligent buildings service provider that helps clients reduce carbon emissions, improve occupant comfort, and lower operating costs through an innovative smart building platform and subscription-based data analytics. He also served as CEO of Reds10, where he developed the company’s strategy and brand, repositioning the business as a disruptor in the UK construction market through AI technology and volumetric modular construction.

He also held the posts of COO and later CEO of Arcadis Asia from 2013 to 2018, where he led a business of 4,500 people across 70 offices in 12 countries. During his tenure, he successfully navigated complex post-merger integrations, drove digital transformation initiatives, and personally managed major regional accounts.

As Head of PDS APAC, Bennion will chair the APAC PDS Executive Committee, develop and execute the regional capital and M&A strategy, and work closely with colleagues across REMS and the broader firm to drive seamless integration and deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Bennion will be based in Singapore and will report to Cynthia Kantor, Global CEO for Project & Development Services, with a matrix reporting line to Koul.
