Senior Urban Design Director to strengthen national greenfield and new communities expertise
Colliers has appointed Ben Craig to its Urban Planning business, strengthening the firm’s national Urban Design capability and expanding its expertise in new communities, growth corridors and large-scale residential development.
Based in Brisbane, Ben joins the Urban Design team with more than 15 years’ experience delivering projects across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and the ACT. His expertise spans urban design, master planning, growth area planning and the creation of new communities.
Ben has advised developers, landowners and institutional clients on projects ranging from boutique residential estates to some of Australia’s largest residential communities including developments planned to accommodate more than 50,000 dwellings. Throughout his career, he has worked with leading developers including Stockland, Mirvac, Frasers Property, DevCore, Ausbuild and Consolidated Properties Group.

Ben joins Colliers from Urbis, where he managed more than 30 projects while leading multidisciplinary teams across Australia. Earlier in his career at RPS, he developed specialist expertise in the master planning and design of new communities, combining urban design, infrastructure planning and development strategy across large-scale greenfield projects in Townsville, Brisbane and Perth, further strengthening his national perspective and expertise. Across both firms, he has delivered projects ranging from 10-lot subdivisions to some of Australia’s largest residential communities.
