Altis & Frasers Settle on Kemps Creek Land

5 October 2020

A joint venture between Altis & Frasers have settled on a second parcel of land in their Kemps Creek Warehouse and Logistics Hub.

The two groups have secured over 117ha of land at 657-769 Mamre Road, Kemps Creek, settling on the first 17ha in late 2018 for $38m ($224/sqm) and the second parcel of 19.2ha for $57.75m ($300/sqm) in mid September 2020. The remaining 80ha are yet to be settled.

The site is positioned in the Western Sydney Growth Priority Area on the western side of Mamre Rd. To the west of the site is South Creek and the Twin Creeks Golf and Residential estate. The site also adjoins the Water NSW Pipeline and an existing Altis industrial estate to the north which will ultimately be separated by a 60m reservation for the Western Sydney Freight Line Corridor.

The Groups are currently seeking development consent for the development of a Warehouse, Logistics and Industrial Facilities Hub, comprising nine (9) buildings in the 1st Stage and subdivision of the overall Site into 33 lots over three (3) stages. The application is being fast tracked through the State Significant Development process.

Stage 1 of the development will incorporate 160,000sqm of warehouse space across 8 separate buildings with a tenant reported to have been secured for warehouse no. 6.

The Mamre Rd precinct has become the new development front for warehouse & logistics developers with Mirvac and GPT also securing large landholders in recent months.
