The Raleigh in Windsor now pre-leasing, residents to move in from June 2026
National property developer Goldfields is launching a premium Build-to-Rent platform, The Keys, created in response to changing expectations of renting — where residents are seeking more than a place to live, but a considered, service-led living experience.
The flagship property within The Keys collection, The Raleigh in Windsor, opens in June 2026, with pre-leasing now available. Purpose-designed for those prioritising lifestyle through long-term rental living, The Raleigh brings together architecture, resident-focused amenities and a natural sense of community to establish a new benchmark for Build-to-Rent in Australia.
Underpinned by a deep understanding of how people live together, every part of the resident experience at The Keys is considered, from first enquiry through to a resident’s first night in. Residents are provided with a single, trusted point of support for the everyday, with move-ins seamlessly coordinated, maintenance handled promptly, deliveries managed securely and shared spaces ready when needed. Everything is effortlessly accessible through one intuitive system, so nothing requires chasing or follow-up.
Goldfields’ Managing Director, Marco Gattino, said the decision to launch The Keys reflects the group’s belief in setting a new, premium standard for rental properties, while additional sites are already being explored to expand the portfolio.
“With The Keys, we’ve created somewhere residents won’t want to leave. It’s an entirely new category of renting where architecture, service and lifestyle come together with a level of intention and craft the market has never seen,” Mr Gattino said.
“We see significant opportunity to expand The Keys platform, with a number of new Build-to-Rent sites and projects already being actively explored.”
Set between Melbourne’s Albert Park and Prahran Market, The Raleigh comprises 348 studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments across interconnected 15-storey towers. Apartments are bespoke-designed for Build-to-Rent and finished with high-quality fixtures and furnishings that balance beauty and durability.
More than 2,600m² of shared amenity is designed to support both daily routine and social connection. A rooftop dedicated to recreation and gathering includes a pool, fully-equipped gym, half basketball court, cinema room and spaces for dining and entertainment, with views across the Melbourne skyline. A sky bridge connects both towers for seamless resident access.
Residents will also have access to a dedicated outdoor dog park on Level 9, a co-working space, and basement amenities including a golf simulator, dog wash, tool workshop and bicycle workshop, alongside 278 car spaces, 435 bicycle spaces and motorbike parking.
Sustainability is built into the design, with The Raleigh targeting an average 7-star NatHERS rating and 5-star Green Star certification. A 25kW rooftop solar array supplies around 10 per cent of the building’s energy needs, appliances and hot water are fully electric, and the basement includes load-managed EV charging.
Goldfields’ General Manager Build-to-Rent, Mitchell Tayt, said The Raleigh establishes a strong foundation for The Keys.
“The Raleigh captures the intent of The Keys, with quietly premium, design-led apartments and communal areas that feel complete, comfortable and well-made,” Mr Tayt said.
“It’s about delivering a property that complements the neighbourhood culture around it, while creating a genuine sense of identity and belonging for residents. Through thoughtfully designed spaces that bring people together, The Raleigh fosters community and delivers a higher standard of living.”
The Raleigh enjoys a prime position within one of Melbourne’s most character-rich inner-city neighbourhoods, offering a unique blend of city living and village charm that embodies The Keys lifestyle. Windsor is known for its quirky soul, world-class dining, and a diverse range of shops, bars and restaurants along Chapel Street, supported by excellent transport links and seamless connectivity.
The Raleigh is being delivered by Maxcon Constructions, in collaboration with Fraser & Partners.
