Global expertise and high-performance Olympian mindset drive next phase of Brisbane CBD office leasing growth.
Colliers has strengthened its Brisbane CBD office leasing team with the appointments of Piers Nickalls as National Director and Cameron Clark as Executive, enhancing the firm’s capability across the city’s evolving commercial office market.
Piers Nickalls joins Colliers with more than 30 years’ international experience, most recently with Related Argent and Savills in London, where he delivered major office leasing strategies across some of the UK and Hong Kong’s most ambitious regeneration and innovation precincts.
In his role as National Director, Piers will focus on helping landlords to enhance their asset performance by differentiating their product in an increasingly competitive market.
Most recently, Piers played a key leadership role in the transformation of Brent Cross Town in London, one of Europe’s largest regeneration projects, helping establish it as a leading destination for business, innovation and knowledge-based industries. His experience includes structuring high-value pre-commitments, targeting knowledge economy tenants, and delivering net-zero carbon timber office buildings powered by renewable energy.
Colliers Queensland Office Leasing National Director Piers Nickalls said he would leverage this global experience to contribute to the continued growth of Brisbane’s CBD office market.
“I’ll be working with clients to shape leasing strategies that respond to evolving occupier demand, anticipate shifts in Brisbane’s market, and attract high-quality tenants through targeted engagement and data-led insight,” Piers Nickalls said.
“Drawing on my experience delivering large-scale innovation precincts, I focus on understanding what leading organisations need from their workplace and helping clients shape environments that attract, retain and support those businesses, while delivering leasing outcomes that are both commercially strong and aligned to long-term objectives.”
Joining alongside Piers, former Rugby Sevens Olympian Cameron Clark, has been appointed as an Executive within the CBD Office Leasing team.
Cameron Clark brings a strong commercial and strategic background, having previously worked in partnerships and consulting across the sport, media and entertainment sectors, most recently at Bastion.
Colliers Queensland Office Leasing Executive Cameron Clark said his experience enables him to understand both landlord and occupier drivers and approach leasing with a solutions-focused mindset.
“I work closely with clients to identify opportunities, unlock value, and align property decisions with broader business objectives,” Cameron Clark said.
Colliers Queensland Office Leasing National Director Shane Van Beest welcomed the appointments.
“Together, these appointments reinforce Colliers commitment to strengthening our market-leading position and delivering exceptional outcomes for clients across Brisbane’s office sector,” Shane Van Beest said.
“Piers is an accomplished property professional with a proven track record in shaping precinct identity, securing global occupiers, and aligning leasing strategies with long-term placemaking outcomes.
“Cameron’s ability to combine commercial insight with a relationship-driven approach makes him a valuable addition to the team. His unique background brings a fresh perspective to office leasing in Brisbane’s CBD,” Shane Van Beest added.
