Petbarn and Supercheap Auto join Cadence Property Group’s Sunshine Square, bringing new shopping opportunities to the local community.
Sunshine Square, located at 484 Ballarat Road, Sunshine North, is thrilled to welcome two new retailers to the centre. Petbarn and Supercheap Auto will be joining the growing mix of stores at the popular shopping destination, offering a wide range of pet products, car accessories, and more.
With customer experience at the forefront of their operations, Petbarn is Australia’s leading pet specialty retailer, providing everything pet owners need to keep their furry friends happy and healthy. From food and toys, to grooming services and veterinary care, Petbarn is a one-stop-shop for pet owners.
ASX listed, Supercheap Auto is one of Australia’s largest retailers of automotive parts, tools, and accessories. With over 300 stores across Australia and New Zealand, Supercheap Auto is known for its wide selection of products and competitive prices.

“The two new retailers follow our recent revitalisation and rebrand of Sunshine Square which has seen in excess of $2 million in improvements made.”
Tom Perkins of Leedwell who brokered the two deals adds; “The addition of Petbarn and Supercheap Auto to Sunshine Square will provide a convenient and accessible shopping experience for locals, with both retailers offering products that are essential to everyday life.

Sunshine Square has been undergoing a transformation since Cadence and Assembly Funds Management acquired the site in September 2021, with a focus on enhancing the shopping experience for locals.
The centre has already welcomed several new stores, including a major discount variety chain, Cheap as Chips, and national hardware retailer Total Tools. With the addition of Petbarn and Supercheap Auto, the centre is now even better equipped to serve the needs of the local community.
