GURNER continues momentum with six-week sell out of $35m luxury boutique project
23 March 2024GURNER™ has revealed that each of its six showstopping ultra-luxury mansions at the $35 million Huntingtower Place on the sough-after Huntingtower Road in Armadale – which were inspired by the spectacular homes of Los Angeles – have now sold out after just six weeks on market.
The six bespoke homes are currently under construction by Krongold Construction and are due for completion in 2025, designed by sustainable design practice Wolveridge Architects, complete with landscape design by Myles Baldwyn.
The buyer pool was largely downsizers from nearby suburbs like Malvern, Toorak and South Yarra, who have historically been starved of opportunities for top-end low-maintenance residences scaled for families in Armadale’s tightly held residential market.
In keeping with GURNER™’s sustainability ethos, each Huntingtower Place residence will be built with water harvesting, solar power generation, double-glazed windows and door systems, all culminating in carbon neutral homes.
Huntingtower Place’s palatial residences offer access to GURNER™ Design House, which works with buyers one on one to customise every aspect of their home. This allowed for inclusions like bespoke wine showcases, extensive home offices, private gym and wellness hubs and dedicated private wings for guests or returning children.
With Huntingtower Place now sold-out and Cambridge Place on the market, the GURNER™ Boutique team will now turn its sights to key areas in Queensland and Victoria as it looks to deliver 6 – 8 projects per year.

“Huntingtower Road is one of the most sought-after and exclusive streets in Melbourne, and we’re proud to be delivering such a high-quality product that will embody the most luxurious homes of Los Angeles while celebrating the character of Armadale.
“The basis of everything we do is design – we build our towers, residences and boutique homes to be architecturally timeless and homely and to push the boundaries of what’s possible, and we love working one on one with buyers who share that passion.
“Our aim is to deliver 6 – 8 boutique projects per year in our boutique division. We have an incredible network of existing buyers who are showing strong appetite for the product, so we know the luxury market active.
“Being able to work so closely with Simon our Head of Interior Design and our Design House team is a rare opportunity, and allows for buyers to design the home they’ve always dreamt of in one of the most discerning parts of Melbourne.
“We offer a very unique customisation process to our buyers, where they really get to design the entire home hand-in-hand with a world-class team that has delivered many high-end residences.
“Buyers really don’t get opportunities like these in Armadale – the chance to work with a world-class architect to design your dream home in one of the nicest parts of Melbourne is extremely rare, and that definitely inspired our buyers to act quickly.
