A Look Inside Diggers Rest’s Newest Designer Development

The developer behind Diggers Rest’s newest land lease community recently collaborated with expert interior design firm Arkee to deliver a $13m luxury over 50s resort-style Clubhouse exclusive to the community’s growing resident population.

The newly opened Clubhouse at Vantage Bloomdale by AVID Property Group (AVID) offers wellness amenities including a gym, pool, sauna, and tennis and pickleball courts, as well as extended recreational areas including a games room, theatre, dining rooms and lounge, and a creativity hub.

Arkee CEO Paula Bowen said the inviting interiors of the Clubhouse, delivered in collaboration with architects ClarkeHopkinsClarke, were designed to evoke feelings of comfort and familiarity that are associated with home.

“The Clubhouse is designed to provide residents with elevated home-like features, such as a grand piano, a sprawling bar area that includes an ice machine, wine cooler and a modern green marble benchtop to compliment the fresh, earthy interiors,” Ms Bowen said.

“The design elements incorporated in the Clubhouse follow a soft elegance, like the theatre room which features a plush forest green couch to maximise comfort tied together by velvety curtains to reflect an inviting presence for residents.

“The look and feel of the Clubhouse were meticulously curated from the finer details like specially selected high range wine glasses and plates in the kitchen area, to more broader ones like a tennis court and custom designed billiard table to seamlessly blend with the cohesive theme.

“Other considerations such as the use of greenery, natural light, elegant artworks and fresh, earthy tones create a positive and open feeling, one that is reflective of the lush natural surrounds at Vantage Bloomdale.”

AVID General Manager Victoria Penny Forrest said the Clubhouse captured the central design theme of Vantage Bloomdale, balancing elegant and modern exteriors with warm homely interiors to create a space residents feel comfortable to come together to enjoy the company of their new neighbours.

“In working with Arkee we feel we’ve been able to deliver the highest quality resort-style amenities for our residents to enjoy from day one,” Ms Forrest said.

“With the Clubhouse officially opening so soon after we welcomed the first neighbours to the community, we’ve been committed to ensuring our residents feel like they’re getting the best at Vantage, right from the very beginning.

“Our homes have been designed to cater to our resident’s evolving needs, and the Clubhouse is no different – with amenities and activities that evoke a sense of community and togetherness, the Clubhouse will act as an extension of the home.”

Vantage Bloomdale celebrated the Clubhouse Grand Opening earlier this year, where the new amenities were unveiled for more than 200 current and prospective residents to explore.
