ESR Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Keen as Head of Funds Management and Capital Transactions, following an extensive search.
The strategic appointment further bolsters ESR’s senior leadership team and enables further acceleration of ESR’s fund management capabilities by continuing to cultivate relationships with new and existing capital partners.
As Head of Funds Management and Capital Transactions, Mr Keen assumes the responsibility of delivering the company’s capital strategy and partnering initiatives and growing ESR’s funds management business.
ESR Australia CEO, Phil Pearce, said that Mr Keen’s considerable experience in the industrial and logistics sector, structuring, securing, and growing funds, provided the complementary skillset to deliver to the company’s growth strategy.

Prior to joining ESR, Mr Keen was Head of Logistics and Warehousing at ISPT and was tasked with creating a $2 billion core logistics development pipeline. While at Dexus, he was also the Fund Manager of a $4.5 billion unlisted office joint venture with the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board, responsible for asset, investment, and strategic direction of a high-quality portfolio with income of $300 million.
