Vantage Hervey Bay by AVID Property Group (AVID) is expecting to welcome its first residents as early as April next year, with construction now well underway on the community’s first 20 homes which will include five display homes.

With current trends suggesting the local Hervey Bay population could increase by 25 to 35 per cent in the next 20 years1, the new land lease community has caught the attention of over 50 buyers looking to capitalise on its coastal location and promise of resort style living.

Future Vantage Hervey Bay residents, Ricky and Sally Barron, will be some of the first to call the community home and look forward to taking advantage of the indulgent amenities offered.

“We were blown away by the homes and the community facilities on offer at Vantage Hervey Bay – we had previously toured multiple lifestyle resorts in the area and hadn’t seen anything like this,” Mr Barron said.

“One thing we loved was the abundance of green spaces, I already know it’s going to be nice watching the community grow against the backdrop of Hervey Bay – it’s just such beautiful place to live.

“Vantage Hervey Bay really is perfect for us – it’s a great match for our lifestyle, so we’re looking forward to moving in and connecting with our new neighbours.”

The carefully designed community will boast a wellness centre with an outdoor pool, spa, sauna, private dining and function spaces, games room, theatre, art studio, community garden, tennis courts and bowls green, connecting residents to the Hervey Bay lifestyle.

AVID General Manager Land Lease Communities Manuel Lang said the Hervey Bay community and its homes had been intentionally designed to maximise both the benefits of a coastal lifestyle and community connection.

“Vantage Hervey Bay features a brand-new range of home designs from our in-house builder, Villaworld Homes by AVID which was recognised as the HIA Australian Professional Major Builder of the Year 2024 for their quality work,” Mr Lang said.

“Our homes, which are being snapped up by discerning buyers, have been specifically designed with the local coastal environment in mind, from the façade to the inclusions, ensuring they blend seamlessly with the community’s surrounds and meet the desires of our customers.”

“One of the main appeals has been the promise of a strong community and the associated benefits – many of our buyers are looking forward to forging neighbourly relationships through the shared community facilities and events.”

Vantage Hervey Bay’s range of stylish designs include two-bedroom, two-bathroom, double-garage, homes sitting on a variety of blocks, with a selection of blocks available with RV parking space.

Land lease offerings like Vantage offer a more affordable option where residents own their homes and lease the land, so there are no Council rates or stamp duty to pay.

The fees are clearly set out each year, and there are no deferred management or exit charges, and some residents may also be eligible for Commonwealth Rent Assistance to help cover their ongoing fees.

The first homes within the boutique community are set to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.
