Australia’s largest property valuation and advisory firm Herron Todd White has appointed prominent economist and housing market expert Cameron Kusher as Chief Economist, further strengthening the firm’s national property market insight and research capability.
With more than two decades of experience analysing Australia’s property market, Cameron joins Herron Todd White with an extensive background in economic research, property analysis and market commentary.
Peter Maloney, Chief Executive Officer of Herron Todd White, said the appointment reflects the organisation’s continued investment in strengthening its market leadership, research capability and technology-driven insights, while reinforcing its commitment to delivering property intelligence, valuation and advisory expertise across Australia.
“Widely recognised as one of Australia’s leading property economists, Cameron Kusher has built a strong reputation for articulating complex market data into clear, practical insights for industry, government, media and consumers,” Mr Maloney said.
“Cameron is one of the most respected voices in Australian property and economics. His depth of knowledge, analytical expertise and ability to clearly communicate market trends will be an enormous asset to our clients, our people and the broader industry,” Mr Maloney said.
“As Australia’s leading valuation and property advisory firm, it is critical that we continue to provide timely, independent and evidence-based insights that help clients navigate changing market conditions with confidence. Cameron’s appointment complements that capability.”
Mr Maloney added that Cameron Kusher will work closely with Herron Todd White’s property advisory, data insights and valuation teams, strengthening the firm’s national expertise through strategic analysis and commentary across residential, commercial, agribusiness and specialised property sectors.
Cameron Kusher said he was excited to join Herron Todd White at a pivotal time for the property sector.
“Herron Todd White has a long-standing reputation for independence, expertise and trusted advice across the Australian residential and commercial property landscape,” Mr Kusher said.
“I look forward to contributing to the firm’s research and thought leadership capabilities, while building on the strong expertise within Herron Todd White.
“Helping translate data into meaningful insights provides a clearer understanding of the economic and market forces shaping the residential and commercial property markets across the country.”
The appointment comes as Australia’s property sector continues to navigate evolving economic conditions, interest rate movements, housing supply challenges and shifting investor sentiment.
