Private developer, Pellicano is set to welcome Network Steel to its client community in a new purpose-built facility at 41 Quarry Road, Stapylton. The pre-lease announcement marks a significant milestone in Network Steel’s 30+ year journey in Queensland.
The new 8,424m² facility, six times larger than Network Steel’s current Cleveland Head Office, represents a major investment in local manufacturing capability, advanced machinery and automation, and the long-term growth of the business across Southeast Queensland.
Strategically located just 1.5km from the Pacific Motorway and 38km from the Brisbane CBD, the Stapylton site strengthens Network Steel’s ability to service customers from the Northern Rivers in NSW through to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
Purpose-built to support operational efficiency, safety and sustainability, features of the facility include:
• Designed to achieve 5-Star Green Star rating
• Expanded operational footprint to support increased production capacity
• Designated customer pick-up zones to improve safety and site flow
• Landscaped outdoor courtyard and upgraded office facilities for staff
Pellicano worked with Network Steel to deliver a facility purpose-designed around the needs of modern steel manufacturing, combining thoughtful design with long-term operational capability.
David Buda, Chief Executive Officer of Network Steel, said:
“This new facility is a significant investment in the future of Network Steel. It strengthens our position as a market leader in Queensland and reinforces our commitment to supporting builders with scale, reliability and technical capability. Partnering with Pellicano has allowed us to create a purpose-built facility aligned with our long-term vision for growth and operational excellence.”
Mat Carberry, Executive General Manager of Network Steel, said:
“Alongside the new facility, we are investing in new machinery and automation to drive efficiency, improve precision and support faster turnaround times for our customers. This positions us to better service growth across the region while maintaining the quality and reliability we are known for.”
Renato Pellicano, Managing Director of Pellicano, said:
“We hold our assets for the long term, so quality and alignment are incredibly important to us. As a family business, we value trust, transparency and partnerships that last. The signing of Network Steel represents exactly the kind of relationship we strive to build.”
The relocation is currently anticipated for December 2026, subject to construction and final fit-out progress.
