Kent Relocation Group has purchased a significant industrial site at 38 Birdwood Crescent, Redbank, a 33,906sqm parcel of land within the highly sought-after Redbank Motorway Estate, owned by Goodman.
The transaction marks a strategic acquisition for Kent Relocation Group, allowing them to expand their operations with a new 9000sqm purpose-built facility, with significant container rated hardstand.
The sale was facilitated by CBRE’s Jack Hardy and Matthew Frazer-Ryan.
CEO of Kent Relocation Group, Glenn Pile said, “In addition to the quality of multinational and domestic companies who call the estate home, Kent Relocation Group were attracted to Redbank Motorway Estate’s strategic location close to key infrastructure and close proximity to our customer base across South East Queensland. This ensures our capacity to expand the company’s reach for the Brisbane Olympics in 2032 and also aligns with our values of attracting local employees from the Ipswich Council region.”
Mr Frazer-Ryan said, “The purchase reflects the growing demand for industrial land in Brisbane, driven by a combination of strong market activity and limited supply. Kent Relocation Group will be the owner-occupier of the site and develop their own facility.”
Mr Hardy added, “The recent surge in demand for industrial land in Brisbane has resulted in diminishing land supply, contributing to sustained growth in land values. Across Brisbane’s Western Corridor submarket, there are minimal sites above 3 hectares which are benched, serviced and ready to develop.”
