A significant industrial development site in Melbourne’s north is up for sale.
The 2.4-hectare infill land holding, which is part of 51-57 High Street, Thomastown, is being offered to the market with vacant possession.
It has 14,000sqm of existing improvements, consisting of various buildings formerly used for the purposes of raw materials storage, engineering, manufacturing, office and administration, and research and development.
The property is being taken to the market via an Expressions of Interest (EOI) campaign run by Daniel De Sanctis, Thomas Dodd and Harley Bowen of Knight Frank.
Mr Dodd said the property offered a significant and strategic development opportunity.
“The property presents a northern infill acquisition opportunity that enables prospective purchasers to capitalise on the various existing improvements and services suited to a range of uses, including warehousing, manufacturing and office accommodation,” he said.
“It also provides significant potential for developers to pursue a redevelopment strategy aligned with the strong demand from owner-occupiers and tenants seeking quality high-profile accommodation within Thomastown and its immediate surrounds.”
Mr DeSanctis said the industrial site had exceptional connectivity via major arterials networks including the Hume Freeway, Metropolitan Ring Road and the soon-to-be completed North East Link.
“It’s in an established strategically located industrial precinct around 16 kilometres north of Melbourne’s CBD,” he said.
“The site sits at the front of 51-57 High Street, with 180 metres of main road exposure.
“We expect a range of buyers to be interested, drawn to the property due to its location, redevelopment potential, size and accessibility.”
The EOI campaign for the property will close at 4pm (AEST) on Thursday, 14 August, 2025.
