Multivac expands Melbourne footprint with acquisition of 53 Harrick Road property.
A rare low site coverage opportunity at 53 Harrick Road, Keilor Park, has been sold for $17.25 million in a transaction managed by Colliers Industrial & Logistics experts Mitch Purcell, Nick OāBrien, and Corey Vraca.
The property garnered strong interest throughout the campaign, with potential buyers particularly attracted to its prime location within one of Melbourne’s most sought-after and tightly held industrial areas, the Keilor Park industrial precinct.
āFollowing extensive visibility in the market, we received six formal offers at the end of the EOI period. The successful purchaser was international company Multivac, who plans to use the asset to consolidate its business operations,ā said Nick OāBrien, Colliers National Director | Industrial & Logistics.
Multivac, an internationally operated family business from the AllgƤu region in southern Germany, provides integrated packaging and processing solutions to customers in the food, consumer and industrial goods, and medical and pharmaceutical sectors. The asset at 53 Harrick Road, Keilor Park, presented an ideal location for their business operations.
Colliers Associate Director | Industrial & Logistics, Mitch Purcell, added, āThe 5,150sqm warehouse presented a unique opportunity as it sits on a substantial 16,810sqm site providing drive-around capability and an expansive hardstand.ā
The site boasts immediate access to Melbourne Airport and is located approximately 13.6km north- west of Melbourne CBD. Additionally, it provides nearby access to several strategic major arterial roads in Melbourne, such as the Calder Freeway, the Western Ring Road, and the Tullamarine Freeway.
Having successfully secured a new site for Multivac, Colliers has now been appointed to manage the divestment of their existing operations at 2-20 McGregors Drive, Keilor Park. This property comprises a 5,145sqm facility situated on a 10,059sqm site, with price expectations around $19.50 million.
2-20 McGregors Drive, Keilor Park has already seen significant interest from surrounding owner occupiers, with the Expressions of Interest campaign closing Thursday, 8 May 2025 at 1pm (AEST).
