Veue Rises Reaches New Heights

Sekisui House Australia has reached the topping out milestone at Veue (Stage 4), the largest and most prominent residential stage within The Orchards masterplan, marking a significant step forward in the delivery of one of Sydney’s high-profile masterplanned communities.

Comprising 577 apartments across six buildings, Veue now stands at its highest point, with towers rising between nine and 22 storeys and introducing a striking new architectural presence to the evolving Norwest skyline.

Designed by Crone Architects and delivered by Westbourne Constructions (Westbourne), Veue was visualised as a nature-inspired residential address where architecture, interiors and landscape come together to create a lifestyle-focused community.

The project is characterised by sculptural curved forms, integrated planting, landscaped communal spaces and expansive glazing designed to maximise outlook, light and connection to surrounding green spaces. Positioned within walking distance to Norwest Metro, retail amenity and the Norwest business precinct, Veue combines urban convenience with a sense of retreat.

George Gesouras, Project Director, Apartment & Mixed-Use Developments at Sekisui House Australia said, “This is an important achievement for Sekisui House Australia as Veue’s topping out represents the imminent completion of the structure for the largest stage within The Orchards masterplan.

“Reaching the highest point of this development allows residents, neighbours and the broader community to fully appreciate the scale, built form and presence of what has been envisioned. It represents another step in the continued evolution of The Orchards.”

Mr Gesouras said, “Our purpose is to create homes and communities that improve with time and last for generations. Veue has been designed as a lifestyle environment integrated with surrounding parklands and natural green spaces. The architecture, landscaping and amenity work together to create a place that feels connected and liveable.”

Residents of Veue will have access to premium shared amenities including an indoor heated swimming pool, gymnasium, concierge, music room, landscaped recreation areas, playgrounds and communal function spaces designed to support wellness, social connection and everyday convenience.

Sustainability initiatives embedded throughout the development include rooftop solar integration, rainwater harvesting, energy-efficient systems, EV charging capability, smart metering and water-sensitive urban design features including bioretention basins and rain gardens.

Stephen Hughes, Chief Executive Officer at Westbourne Constructions said “Reaching topping out is a major accomplishment for the Westbourne team and a moment of collective pride. It reflects the dedication, collaboration and commitment of everyone involved in bringing this vision to life. Veue is a highly detailed project that has required exceptional coordination across design, engineering and construction.

“At its peak, more than 420 workers have been on site simultaneously. The structural framework incorporates approximately 6,500 tonnes of reinforced steel and more than 52,000 cubic metres of concrete, highlighting the scale of this landmark build.”

Mr Hughes said, “The curved forms, integrated planting and seamless indoor-outdoor living spaces demanded a high level of craftsmanship and precision. As scaffolding is progressively removed, purchasers and the community will begin to see the sculptural façade and distinctive identity of Veue fully revealed.”

A limited number of homes remain in Veue, with one bed residences from $729,000, two bed homes start at $880,000, three bed residences from $1.6 million and luxurious penthouses priced from $2.5 million.

Veue Central/Parkside is anticipated in welcome residents in August and Veue Grand later in 2026. The Orchards spans 8.1-hectares and will deliver approximately 1,300 apartments across five stages in the heart of Norwest.

To date, more than 950 apartments have been sold across The Orchards, equating to over 73% of the entire masterplan, an innovative project ten years in the making.

Set on a nature site with a creek and cycle/walkways, The Orchards will feature recreational amenities including a 1.4-hectare public park, outdoor cinema, playgrounds, break-out green spaces, lagoon pool and large fitness centre.

Sekisui House’s vision for The Orchards is to create a sustainable and connected community inspired by timeless Japanese principles of quality, wellbeing and harmony with nature.
