An upgraded former Uniting Church and hall site in Adelaide’s north-west that is primed for multiple potential uses has hit the market, and is expected to draw diverse interest.

McGees Property’s James Juers and Yee Ng are marketing 19 Kilkenny Road, Woodville Park on behalf of a private owner, with best offers over $1.8 million to be accepted by Thursday, 5 December at 4pm.

Located just off Port Road, within just six kilometres of the CBD, the property comprises upgraded facilities of 680sqm, which include a former church and the Wesley Hall building, which has multiple large meeting areas, offices, and a full commercial kitchen.

It is on a high-profile corner site of 1,806sqm with flexible Suburban Business zoning and on-site parking.

“We’re expecting broad and diverse interest for this property, given the functionality and flexibility of the upgraded buildings and zoning, as well the highly accessible location not all that far from central Adelaide,” Ng said.

Juers said, “Owner-occupiers are in particular likely to show interest, including community groups, and groups and organisations intending to use the property as a place of worship”.

The property was formerly home to the Uniting Church and in more recent years has been used as a support centre, including being owner-occupied for a period by community mental health program Clubhouse SA.
