TW Projects Expands Portfolio with Strategic Acquisitions in Broadford and Elliminyt

3 July 2024

Leading regional developer, TW Projects has announced its acquisition of prime land holdings in Broadford and Elliminyt, marking significant strides in its strategic expansion and bringing its pipeline to in excess of $400m.

In a move set to redefine the residential landscape of Broadford, TW Projects has acquired a sprawling 60-hectare land parcel of farmland situated at Broadford-Kilmore Road.

With a vision geared towards community enhancement, TW Projects intends to transform this landholding into a vibrant master-planned community. The proposed development encompasses a meticulously designed residential enclave, a new primary school to service the area’s growing population of young families, a retail centre and a community facility.

Emphasising the importance of recreational spaces, the plan allocates 20 hectares for open space, which will feature two sporting grounds, walking tracks and local parks, fostering a healthy and active lifestyle for residents.

Noteworthy for its north-facing aspect, the site boasts natural attributes that harmonise with the envisioned development. Its strategic location within the adopted Broadford Structure Plan – an expanding peri-regional market – underscores its potential as a sought-after destination for prospective homeowners. Its proximity to key employment hubs in Melbourne’s north, coupled with excellent transport connectivity, further enhances its appeal.

Commenting on the acquisition, Albert Weddell, Director at TW Projects, stated: “Our acquisition of the Broadford site aligns with our commitment to crafting sustainable, community-centric developments. Our vision is to create a dynamic neighbourhood that not only provides homes but connects to the well-established community of Broadford.”

In addition to the Broadford acquisition, TW Projects has expanded its footprint with the consolidation of a parcel in Elliminyt (Colac), adding 2.4 hectares to its existing project. The project is now projected to yield approximately 400 lots following this consolidation.

Jack Townley, Director at TW Projects, further commented: “The acquisition of the Elliminyt parcel has been a long-time coming, we have been working on acquiring this site for a while as it is a logical addition to our current landholding. It will allow us to deliver more lots to cater to demand in the area.”

Whilst the Broadford land is earmarked for rezoning over the coming 1-2 years, the developer intends to submit plans for the Elliminyt site at the back-end of this year, with a view to bringing it to market and commencing construction soon after.
