Many Sunshine Coast locals are continuing to make Stockland Aura their community of choice, with a significant number of buyers who already live in Aura’s suburbs in the 4551 postcode choosing to stay and upgrade their family home or build their first home.
Stockland Development Director, Josh Sondergeld, said Aura’s appealing lifestyle and liveability resonate with locals.
“Aura is a vibrant and connected community that celebrates the quintessential Sunshine Coast lifestyle, with shops, schools, parks, cycleways and pathways all within easy reach for our residents. Our insights from recent sales tell us that Sunshine Coast locals are drawn to Aura’s broad appeal and the sense of connection locals are feeling to the community,” Mr Sondergeld said.
“To see Aura come to life as a community of choice for so many locals affirms its liveability and long-term appeal – from first homebuyers and upgraders to those downsizing or choosing our Halcyon communities – and shows how Aura continues to meet the evolving needs of its residents.”
Homeowners Jasmin Gooding and Brenden Mitchell and their two-year-old son currently live in Banya, a suburb in Aura, and are one of many young families investing further into the community. The couple are now building their dream home nearby in Aura’s newest residential precinct, Rivus.

“Aura gives you that sense of community, friendship and relationships with your neighbours – it’s the feeling of being here and being able to walk around and smile at everyone,” Ms Gooding said.
“The value of our current home in Banya has increased significantly in just a couple of years, meaning we can now move into our dream home in Rivus with no compromise. It’s a much larger home, so if we grow our family we’ll have plenty of space, but our lifestyle and surroundings stay the same, which is important to us.
“After living in Aura for the past 18 months, we have seen and felt how amazing it is here and with the continued development in the area, it’s only going to keep getting better,” Ms Gooding added.
Construction of the first home sites in Rivus is expected to begin in late 2025, with the new precinct to be delivered in stages.
Aura’s vibrant outdoor spaces currently include more than 145 kilometres of walking paths and nature trails that connect homes to parks, playgrounds and community facilities. Every home is within 400 metres of one of Aura’s 26 parks, with more green spaces planned as the community grows.
The Stockland Aura Sales and Vision Centre is open daily from 10am to 5pm at 1 Tucker Street in Bells Creek.
