Stockland has officially welcomed its first homeowners to Halcyon Vista — a boutique land lease community designed for those over 50 in Logan Village.

Research conducted by Stockland shows that land lease communities are particularly popular among locals, with around 50 per cent of seniors preferring to move within 15 kilometres of their previous home – reflecting a growing trend for over 50s to stay close to family and friends1.

Stockland Halcyon Project Director, Glenn Nugent, said this buyer data reinforces the importance of offering high-quality, right-sized homes in vibrant communities where people can downsize without disconnecting from their established way of life.

“Boutique land lease communities like Halcyon Vista are especially attractive to downsizers seeking comfort, security and social connection without moving far from the places, people and routines they already know and love. It was important to us that Halcyon Vista enabled the continuation of people’s lifestyles while providing plenty of space and facilities for people to relax,” Mr Nugent said.

Halcyon Vista comprises 161 turnkey homes curated by architects and home specialists, with shortened settlement timeframes.

Communal facilities, including a proposed two-storey clubhouse with a heated pool, pickleball courts, a gym, lawn bowls, a library, cinema, arts and crafts room, function room, and bar, are expected to be complete in late 2026.

Among the new homeowners are Mark and Jane Rider, who chose Halcyon Vista for its boutique charm, turnkey convenience, and proximity to their long-time family home.

“When we first visited Halcyon Vista, it just felt right for us,” Mr Rider said.

“We loved that it’s a smaller, boutique community – it felt more intimate and friendly than the larger communities we’d seen.

“We currently live about a 15-minute walk from Vista, in Logan Village, where we’ve been for over 10 years. Our life is here, so staying local was the most important thing to us. Downsizing gives us the freedom to travel, relax and make the most of this next phase of life.”

Recently, Stockland celebrated the arrival of its first homeowners and homebuyers at Halcyon Vista with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. More releases are coming soon, and the Sales and Information Centre is expected to open mid-year.

Interested buyers are encouraged to book a tour to experience the new luxury display homes and discover the lifestyle at Halcyon Vista. A limited-time $10,000 rebate is available on selected sites until 30 April.
