The latest neighbourhood in an award-winning Greenbank community is set to release a limited range of blocks up to half an acre in size – more than four times larger than the average block in the Greater Brisbane area1

The Fields neighbourhood within Covella by AVID Property Group (AVID) and Greenfields Development Company (Greenfields) is releasing a limited number of extra-large lifestyle blocks, ranging in size from 1,206 sqm to over 2,000 sqm and all delivered in the heart of the fastest growing local government area in Queensland2

Chairman of the joint venture with Greenfields, AVID Executive General Manager Bruce Harper said the lifestyle blocks presented a unique opportunity for buyers to have both a large backyard while still enjoying the amenities associated with a masterplanned community.

“Covella’s offering of spacious and family-friendly housing in a rapidly growing area has continuously appealed to aspiring homebuyers who would have to sacrifice space or accessibility to afford to buy in Brisbane,” Mr Harper said.

The Fields is the ideal neighbourhood to feature our premium large blocks, giving future buyers flexibility to build a home that suits their family’s needs without having to compromise on adding the pool, shed, or secluded garden that is on their homebuilding wish list.

“This release is ideally located next to our neighbouring future sporting fields and is only moments away from our six community parks and expansive walking trails – we are proud of the commitment we have made to developing a community that has laid down the roots for a legacy of connected, fulfilled living.”

Soon-to-be Covella resident Astrud Rosales said he and his wife chose the community because it felt like the perfect place to grow as a family after migrating from New Zealand.

“We were drawn to Covella because of its friendly community and peaceful environment – the combination of natural surroundings and modern living made it the ideal place to build our family home,” Mr Rosales said.

“We couldn’t be more excited to settle into our new home, meet our new neighbours, and become part of this vibrant community.”

Covella’s commitment to fostering a lasting relationship with the local businesses and community groups in the wider Greenbank community earned the development the Urban Development Institute of Australia’s (UDIA) Queensland Residential Subdivision Award for Excellence in 2024, as well as being honoured as a finalist in the Project of the Year category.

“As we enter the final stages of hands-on development at Covella, we are so proud to have established the community as such an integral part of the local Greenbank region,” Mr Harper said.
