
The luxury residential market continues to find demand with developers forking out $13.4m for a DA approved site in Sydney’s Queenscliff.
The 1,259sqm site at 71 -71A Queenscliffe Rd is DA approved for 14 luxury apartments and 32 car spaces in one of the Sydney’s Northern Beaches most exclusive suburbs.
The purchase price represents approx $950,000 per approved unit.
The site is elevated and offers ocean views south overlooking Manly Beach and is within walking distance of Freshwater Beach.
The building has 5 levels of apartments with a range of 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms options, each with open style living, spacious balconies and some with generous ground floor gardens.
The original DA was rejected by Pittwater Council due to a number of non compliance issues. The developer Queenscliff Developments obtained approval following an appeal to the Land & Environment Court.
The site was marketed by CBRE back in April 2020 with contracts exchanged in late July and settlement completed on October 30.
