Leading Australian developer PASK has partnered with Versatile Construction, part of vertically integrated property specialist Versatile Group, to build its luxury apartments in Burleigh Heads. Â
Situated on a beachfront site at 216 The Esplanade, Ocean Place offers a boutique collection of opulent residences with uninterrupted views of the Coral Sea. Built to celebrate the rituals of coastal living with direct beach access, the complex will also feature a gym, infrared sauna, hot and cold plunge pools, and a 15-metre pool.
The appointment of Versatile Construction marks a significant milestone for the development, with construction due to commence within the next month.
“We are delighted to partner with Versatile Construction on Ocean Place. Their reputation for quality construction and luxury fit-outs align perfectly with our vision for this resort-style project,” said PASK Development Director, John Curtis.

“We are excited to welcome them to Queensland and believe their extensive end-to-end expertise will be invaluable in bringing our shared vision to life.”
For Versatile Construction, primarily known for its delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects to the Sydney market, this project represents an exciting new chapter as it expands into Queensland.
In the midst of a chronic shortage of builders in Queensland, Versatile Construction has expanded into the state to support the delivery of projects outside of the Brisbane 2032 Olympics Games infrastructure, focusing instead on the delivery of residential and mixed-use developments. Versatile Construction, Queensland, is being led by industry leader Ben Richardson.
“After having opened the doors to our new office in Brisbane, we can’t wait to partner with PASK on our first Queensland project and make Ocean Place a reality,” said Marco Fahd, Group Chairman and CEO of Versatile Group.
“Working alongside PASK is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our unique capability. Our end-to-end delivery model means fewer handovers, more control over cost and quality, and better outcomes for clients. We look forward working with PASK to deliver a project that sets new benchmarks for quality and design in the area.”
Construction for Ocean Place is expected to be completed late 2027.
