Last chance to buy into One Sydney Harbour as residences get snapped up

19 April 2022

Australia’s most luxurious address, One Sydney Harbour, has secured more than $3 billion in sales across its three residential towers, with over 90 per cent of buyers being local Sydneysiders.

In response to this sales success, the third and final tower, Watermans Residences was released to the market in February this year, offering one-bedroom apartments priced from $1.42 million, to larger format ‘Skyhomes’ priced around $10 million. Since then, it has been met with strong interest from local owner-occupiers and downsizers, with all four of the ‘Skyhomes’ selling off-market to the VIP database.

With Residences One and Residences Two already 85 per cent sold, Watermans Residences represents the last opportunity for buyers to secure an apartment off-the-plan in the highly sought-after Barangaroo South precinct.

Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano, the 30-storey tower will offer 162 contemporary apartments to the market with high-end luxury interior design and north facing park, city and water views. Residents will also have exclusive access to amenities and facilities available in Residences One and Two, as well as a Sky Garden within the building.

The release of Watermans Residences represents the final chapter of over a decade of work by Lendlease at Barangaroo South, transforming the precinct into a vibrant mixed use and carbon neutral extension of Sydney’s CBD.

Residences One at One Sydney Harbour has been awarded a 6 Star Green Star rating in Design by the Green Building Council Australia, with Residences Two and Watermans Residences also targeting 6 Star Green Star.

In 2019, Residences One made history with the sale of the penthouse for $140 million, making it Australia’s most expensive residential dwelling.

One Sydney Harbour is expected to be completed in 2024.

Tom Mackellar, Managing Director Development, Lendlease said “It has been an incredible journey to watch this project continue to set new benchmarks and records for Australia’s residential market since its launch – and to now see the last tower released to market as the final piece of the Barangaroo South precinct is a big accomplishment.

“The high-end luxury product has continued to be met with strong interest, with buyers drawn to the larger format apartments with spectacular views of the harbour.”
