An industrial site in Sydney’s Inner South West has been brought to market for the first time in 56 years as vendors seek a short-term leaseback.

Located at 273 Edgar Street, Condell Park the 16,200sqm site comprises of two warehouses with a total building area of 8,672sqm being moments from major arterial roads including the M5 Motorway.

Owner occupiers, John Heine & Son have been operating from the site for 56 years, producing large, low-volume ferrous castings and machined components for the mining, quarrying, power generation, and general engineering sectors.

CBRE’s George Holden, Jason Edge and Keegan Ridings are managing the sale via an Expression of Interest campaign closing 2nd March 2023.

“Historically low industrial vacancy rates of sub 0.2% and unprecedented rental growth in the Inner South West has seen an influx of private and institutional investment,” Mr Holden said.

Mr Ridings added, “Edgar Street is one of the last remaining sites of this scale and provides an opportunity for occupiers, developers, and investors, alike wanting to capatalise on the highly desirable IN1 General Industrial zoning.”
