A Melbourne landmark, 101 Collins represents the highest standards in corporate office space in Australia with first-class spaces, amenities, technology and sustainability in a premium location. A 30-year-old asset, 101 Collins is the first premium building in Melbourne, that is not a new development, to be fully electric.

JLL CEO Australia & New Zealand, Dan Kernaghan, said: “Our renewed commitment to 101 Collins is a testament to our ongoing efforts to provide outstanding workplaces that exemplify contemporary office design. By setting the standard in crafting inspiring workspaces, we strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional service to our valued clients.

“The design of our new space was driven by our people, and the diverse capabilities of our business empowered us to manage every aspect of the journey, from inception to finalisation. This truly is a space that has been carefully crafted by and for our people.

“With our expansion at 101 Collins, we have the opportunity to create a modern office environment that embraces our dedication to sustainability, flexibility, and innovation,” said Mr Kernaghan.

JLL is proud to be working with 101 Collins leasing the commercial office space and designing and delivering the new ground floor fit-out.

JLL’s new office fit-out at 101 Collins has been managed by the firm’s in-house teams of Workplace Strategy and Interior Workspace Design, with the goal of achieving a 6 Star Green Star rating and a Platinum WELL certification. JLL’s Energy & Sustainability Services team has leveraged its expertise to ensure a sustainable and wellness-focused workplace.

Mr Kernaghan said, “JLL’s expansion at 101 Collins demonstrates the growth and success of the Victoria business, that is well-positioned for further significant growth under the new leadership of Kate Pilgrim.”

JLL Managing Director – Victoria, Kate Pilgrim said: “Our new workplace is a testament to the talent and dedication of our team. Our Project Management team have created a space that represents the very best in modern office design, fostering collaboration, innovation, and well-being, while also reflecting the urban fabric of Melbourne.”

“Flexibility and connectivity have been key components of the design, with spaces and amenities that outperform the home environment. Staff will be able to choose between all-day desks or an option of medium or light ‘touch-down’ points, depending on their needs on any given day. We’ve prioritised diversity, equity and inclusion, with dedicated wellness spaces, all-gender/DDA bathrooms, and facilities for parents and individuals with neurodivergent preferences.

“In addition to catering for JLL’s own needs, the office at 101 Collins has been designed to enhance collaboration and provide exceptional experiences for JLL’s clients. The space features state-of-the-art technology, diverse and flexible areas, and premium amenities. The new office also incorporates Melbourne’s unique, multicultural identity and offers stunning views of the city.

“The inclusion of a ‘Business Lounge’ is a first for a JLL office, and is dedicated to client and partner engagement and collaboration. The new office also boasts library spaces on both floors for quiet work areas and a break from team activities. Our new space at 101 Collins showcases exceptional office design, fostering an environment that inspires our people to excel every day,” said Ms Pilgrim.
