HomeCo Settled Gregory Hills Town Centre for $69m

The HomeCo Daily Needs REIT has now settled the acquisition of the Gregory Hills Town Centre.

The acquisition formed part of portfolio of Centres the group listed in November 2020.

HomeCo paid $69m for the asset from the Trustees of the Marist Brothers who owned the site and provided a leasehold interest to DartWest Pty Ltd to develop the site.

The centre, located on the corner of Gregory Hills Drive and Village Circuit, is home to a full line Woolworths supermarket, BWS store, a medical centre and more than 20 specialty stores totalling 8,362sqm in GLA.

The acquisition reflected a cap rate of 5.5%.
