Goldfields to redefine Chatswood skyline with 24-level tower

28 February 2023

A new architectural dawn is coming to Chatswood as national developer Goldfields’ introduces its new architecturally striking, 24-level tower, The Bryson.

The Bryson, a 70-unit residential and commercial tower designed by Make Architects, is the latest in Goldfields’ growing pipeline of developments in New South Wales. It has been designed to offer a collection of residences that strike an ideal balance between city living and quiet retreat, inspired by the heritage and vibrancy of Chatswood.

CEO of Goldfields, Lachlan Thompson, said that the launch of The Bryson marked a significant milestone for the increasingly diversified developer.

“We are very excited to mark the latest step in our strategic vision for expanding our presence in New South Wales,” Mr Thompson said. “Sydney’s Lower North Shore has become one of the most sought-after places to live and work in Australia and we see this trend continuing well into the future.

“We saw an unmissable opportunity to bring high-quality mixed-use residential space to an area that is demanding it. We are thrilled to present our vision for The Bryson at the heart of booming Chatswood.”

The Bryson will incorporate a mix of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments, each with open plan living spaces, expansive balconies, textural materials and lush greenery.

Exclusive Skyhome and Penthouse residences will set a new benchmark for luxury urban living with walls of operable glazing defining thresholds between expansive open plan living spaces and generous balconies, providing panoramic views while retaining privacy through orientation and the intentional insetting of balconies.

A pool terrace complete with rooftop gardens, outdoor furniture, barbecue facilities and sweeping views across the surrounding Chatswood CBD enhances the feel of an urban resort to draw residents and visitors alike.

Integrating into the vibrant public realm of Chatswood is a ground floor retail offering that acts as a threshold between the neighbourhood and the private residences above. Strata office suites will be located on level 2 and 3.

Nature is a constant thread through the building’s shared spaces, offering lush garden zones, earthy tones, fresh air and natural light throughout a considered selection of resident amenities.

Simon Lincoln, Asia Pacific Director at Make, said: “The Bryson’s striking vertical form will be a great addition to the Chatswood skyline and deliver beautiful living spaces, prioritising wellbeing for residents with a real focus on space and amenity.”

A vibrant metropolis just 8km north of Sydney’s CBD, Chatswood sits at the commercial and residential heart of Sydney’s Lower North Shore. The Bryson is situated just 400metres from Chatswood Railway Station and the iconic Westfield Chatswood shopping centre, providing residents with unrivalled accessibility and convenience.

“Chatswood is a mecca of multi-faceted appeal,” Mr Thompson said. “The area has several quality schools, an abundance of parks and green space, seamless connection to major arterials and transport exchanges and nurtures a thriving commercial landscape which positions it as a suburb of convenience and ample future opportunity.

“We are thrilled to be part of the ongoing evolution of the vibrant Chatswood skyline through the carefully considered design of The Bryson.”
