GemLife Appoints Manuel Lang as Chief Corporate Officer

Leading land lease community operator GemLife has appointed Manuel Lang as its Chief Corporate Officer (CCO), effective 1 October 2025, after listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX: GLF) in July.

Mr Lang brings more than 20 years’ experience in the land lease and property sectors, including executive leadership roles at AVID Property Group and Palm Lake Group, to GemLife’s team.

GemLife Managing Director and Group CEO Adrian Puljich said, as CCO, Mr Lang would play a key role in supporting the company’s next phase of growth.

“Manuel brings deep sector knowledge, commercial acumen, and a collaborative leadership style that aligns strongly with GemLife’s values and long-term vision,” said Mr Puljich.

“As we continue to grow our portfolio, Manuel’s appointment supports our goal to deliver exceptional low-maintenance homes in lifestyle-led communities for over-50s.”

GemLife is one of Australia’s fastest-growing vertically integrated developers and operators in the land lease sector, with a pipeline approaching 10,000 homes across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia.

Mr Lang said he was looking forward to closely collaborating with GemLife’s high-performing executive leadership to build on its solid foundations and significant growth.

“I feel privileged to be part of a company that combines strong family values with the backing of sophisticated investors and the momentum of a listed company,” he said.

In his most recent role, Mr Lang was General Manager of Land Lease Communities at AVID Property Group. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer at Palm Lake Group, leading large-scale community development and operational programs across the eastern seaboard.

“I’m extremely passionate about land lease communities, having supported the sector’s expansion from my early career in corporate lending to senior leadership roles,” he said.

“The industry plays a vital role in providing housing solutions for Australians, by enabling both the delivery of new homes and the more efficient use of existing housing.”

GemLife has grown rapidly since being established in 2015. With a fully integrated business model spanning development, construction, sales, and ongoing community management, it is focused on creating high-quality, master-planned communities that support connected, active, wellness-led lifestyles for Australia’s downsizer market.
