CBRE has recruited highly regarded supply chain executive Sasha Vasiljkovic to lead its Pacific Supply Chain Advisory business.
Mr Vasiljkovic brings more than 25 years of local and Asia Pacific experience to his new Senior Director role, most recently as Chief Customer Officer at Silk Logistics Group.
He has also held senior roles at DHL and Toll Group in both Singapore and Australia.
CBRE Regional Director Trevor O’Grady said the appointment formed part of CBRE’s strategy to expand its integrated property solution offering.
“Sasha’s in-depth experience in supply chain management and operations within the third-party logistics sector positions him to provide expert advisory support to CBRE’s clients in the areas of supply chain strategy, network and facility design, and transformation program delivery,” Mr O’Grady said.
“Sasha has a strong customer focused approach and has a very established network to assist us in expanding our service offering to existing customers while unlocking new client opportunities. His prior Singapore experience with Toll also positions Sasha to support our clients with regional strategies.”
Mr Vasiljkovic said he was excited to join CBRE and contribute to innovative solutions that optimised supply chain operations.
“In the Pacific region, I see growing demand for more strategically located industrial properties, driven by e-commerce and a need for more resilient last-mile delivery networks, as well as growing multi-modal network solutions to drive cost benefits for clients. Both factors will shape the future of supply chain infrastructure,” Mr Vasiljkovic noted.
Mr Vasiljkovic will commence with CBRE on July 14, based in Melbourne.
