Brunswick Yard releases final stage of move in ready luxury three-bedroom apartments

26 February 2024

Gersh Investment Partners Ltd, a leading property investment company, announced today the upcoming completion of its flagship project, Brunswick Yard. Nestled 5.5km from the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, Brunswick Yard will welcome its first residents in the coming weeks.

Theo Axarlis, Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer of Gersh Investment Partners Limited, says, “Brunswick Yard has been an incredible journey for the team. From acquiring the site in 2019 to navigating through the challenges presented by the pandemic, inflation, and increased building costs, we are proud to see it completed.”

The success of Brunswick Yards can be attributed to its unique design elements, crafted by the award-winning architecture firm Carr, known for its minimalist palette and sophisticated design. The exterior of the building pays homage to Brunswick’s industrial heritage, creating a harmonious blend of modernity and raw authenticity and the exceptional quality build of Element 5, the project’s builders.

Drawing on its industrial urban surroundings, Brunswick Yard is a project that fuses architecture, interiors, landscape and streetscape into a contemporary multi-residential offer.

As a multi-faceted suburb with a rich history and industrial vernacular, Brunswick is a pocket of Melbourne renowned for its eclecticism. Brunswick Yard references the suburbs’ storied past while creating a modern building suitable for contemporary living. Key to the design of Brunswick Yard is a seamless inside-out approach. As Carr worked on architecture and interiors, there is a strong continuation from the outside through to the inside. Having the same design thinking extend from the exterior to the interior means there is a consistent design language and thoroughly considered spatial experience.

“Key to the planning of this project is creating an eight-storey building but breaking it down in scale. We’ve articulated the fourth storey from the street level as a recessed interstitial floor with a floating podium form. The elevation along the street is also quite long, so we broke it down into a series of modules, presenting almost as a row of four-

storey townhouses to the street. Breaking the scale down even further, two laneways punctuate from the street to give each building its own identity while functionally allowing each apartment more natural light and cross-ventilation through dual aspects,” explains Carr Managing Director Chris McCue.

As Brunswick Yard nears completion, a series of spacious three-bedroom apartments inspired by modernist architecture have just been released to the market. In keeping with the design-led quality of Brunswick Yard, the final release of larger apartments has been deliberately held off until now.

These impressive, grand apartments designed by Carr Architecture start at $1,499,000 with large terraces, vast living zones basked in natural light, offer a seamless shaded indoor and outdoor dining experience, sustainable design features and breathtaking garden design by Landscape Architects, 360O. The living rooms feature high ceilings with exposed concrete, uninterrupted views of the Melbourne city skyline and walls of glass to dissolve boundaries between the internal and external and custom-crafted joinery.

With settlements underway, Gersh anticipates a strong response to the final release.
