Bathla Group acquire 30ha site near Lake Macquarie

The Bathla Group have acquired a 30ha residential development site near Lake Macquarie for $24m.

The property at 75 Gradwells Rd, Dora Creek is situated 800m from the Dora Creek train line and 1.2km to the M1 Motorway, both linking Sydney and Newcastle. The site is zoned low density residential with a development approval in place for 340 residential lots.

Bathla Group have been working with the land owner for several year to obtain a development permit and commence work on site.

The Bathla Group, run by Bhart Bhushan, is a residential and commercial property developer and builder based in Sydney’s Greater West, with an expanding footprint across New South Wales. The Group develop house and land packages, as well as free-standing townhouses and apartments. 

The Girraween-based developer also trades as Universal Property Group and Western Sydney Property Group and have acquired a number of land projects in Sydney in recent years, including

  • 114 Old Pitt Town Rd Box Hill for $20.8m,
  • 1132 Richmond Rd, Marsden Park for $37m,
  • 226 Grange Ave Marsden Park NSW for $17m and
  • 36 Gordon Rd Schofields for $5.5m.
