AVID Property Group (AVID) has officially launched its new project in Huntley, NSW with the developer now unveiling its plans for the 101-hectare masterplanned community it acquired in May 2025.
Located in the picturesque Illawarra region, Forest Reach is the latest project from the award-winning developer which is set to deliver approximately 530 residential land blocks, 108 town homes, and a proposed 236-home land lease community.
AVID CEO Cameron Holt said Forest Reach would play a significant role in bringing much-needed housing supply and lifestyle choice to the area, all while contributing to the developer’s goal of creating thriving residential communities.
“This project provides us with a unique opportunity to expand our portfolio and create another great place for Australian families to live and thrive,” Mr Holt said.
“Coastal regions across NSW, in particular the Illawarra, are experiencing strong buyer demand and we are energised by this opportunity to enter a new market in a region with such robust potential.”
On completion, the project will feature two local parks and 4.74 hectares of riparian corridors – equivalent to almost nine international football fields in size – with more than 22 kilometres of shared walking and bike paths.
AVID Project Director New South Wales Danny Boubli said the project would strengthen AVID’s presence in the NSW market, where it currently has two active projects.
“Forest Reach offers homebuyers the perfect balance of regional, peaceful living and a modern, connected lifestyle,” Mr Boubli said.
“Time and time again we are seeing homebuyers see the value in regional living, where they can feel connected to nature while still having access to vital community infrastructure and transport.
“Forest Reach is an ideal location for the family looking for it all – shops, schools and public transport are all just a stone’s throw away, and easy access to the M1 Princes Highway means the bustling cities of Wollongong and Sydney are never too far away.”
