Luxury Hub Opens Doors for Fraser Coast Locals

The much-anticipated $16.5 million Clubhouse at Vantage Hervey Bay officially opened its doors last weekend, welcoming existing residents, prospective buyers, Fraser Coast Mayor Cr George Seymour, and builder Hutchinson Builders for the Grand Opening Day on Saturday 25 July.

Along with 350 guests, Mayor Seymour commenced the celebrations with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the resort-style Clubhouse. Guests then explored and enjoyed the brand-new amenities, with activations showcasing key features including the golf simulator, card-making station, exercise physiologist sessions, cooking demonstrations, bowls activation, and food and beverage offerings throughout the day.

AVID CEO Anthony Demiris said the opening marked a defining moment for the fast-growing Fraser Coast community, which has welcomed more than 100 residents since construction commenced last year.

“Vantage Hervey Bay has experienced incredible momentum over the past 12 months. The opening of the Clubhouse represents a major milestone in delivering the full lifestyle offering that led our residents to choose Vantage for their next chapter,” Mr Demiris said.

“As our resident population continues to grow, the Clubhouse will serve as the heart of the neighbourhood, providing an inclusive and welcoming space where neighbours can come together to connect and enjoy the very best of coastal and community living.

“More broadly, strong demand for resort-style living demonstrates the increasing appeal of the land lease model and has supported the expansion of our portfolio into one of the country’s leading over-50s communities.”

Designed around the needs and aspirations of the over-50s demographic, the Clubhouse offers spaces that support enhanced wellbeing and connection.

“Our design intent was to create a warm and welcoming environment that is both luxurious and deeply functional for residents,” Mr Demiris said.

“Designed to bring neighbours together, the Clubhouse includes a variety of spaces tailored to the unique needs of the community. Residents now have access to amenities including the luxury large-screen theatre with gold-class seating, games room, gym, sauna, creative arts studio and more.

“Every element has been purposefully planned and crafted to encourage neighbourhood connection and enjoying life to the fullest at Vantage Hervey Bay.”

The opening of the Hervey Bay Clubhouse follows the recent opening of Vantage Bloomdale’s Clubhouse in Melbourne’s outer west, marking the completed delivery of resident amenities for both communities announced as part of AVID’s land lease venture.

The Grand Opening Day provided residents and prospective buyers with an inside look at the lifestyle now available, showcasing the Clubhouse and highlighting the benefits it will bring to Fraser Coast’s newest over-50s neighbourhood.
