Providence Lifestyle’s Group’s $300 million over-50s lifestyle resort in Two Rocks – one of the largest developments of its type in WA – has been given the green light by State planners.
The Metropolitan Outer Development Assessment Panel today formally approved the 360-home Oceanside Lifestyle Resort on a 150,000sqm site at 75 and 99 Damepattie Drive.
It follows the City of Wanneroo recently recommending the premium development, which received overwhelming public support during community consultation, get the nod.
Providence Lifestyle Group Managing Director John Wood said construction of the gated community, the Group’s sixth and biggest lifestyle resort development in WA to date, would further invigorate Two Rocks.
“Beautifully positioned just 400m from pristine beaches, Oceanside Lifestyle Resort adds to the significant investment already underway in this prime locale and will bring many benefits to the flourishing local community,” said Mr Wood.
“With strong projected population growth, rapidly rising property prices and the state-of-the-art Two Rocks Village shopping and dining hub on the way, Two Rocks is on the move – but retains that holiday feel, making it an idyllic downsizing destination.”
Alongside its one, two and three-bedroom coastal-inspired homes featuring solar panels and battery storage, the centrepiece of Oceanside Lifestyle Resort will be a two-storey Hamptons-inspired Ocean Lodge featuring panoramic ocean views.
Civil works at the Resort, which also includes a country club, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, indoor bowling alley, 4 pickleball courts, a gym, cinema, wellness caverns, bars, a hobby shed, caravan and boat parking, and a bowling green, are tipped to begin mid this year.
“As with our other communities, Oceanside Lifestyle Resort is designed for active, healthy ageing and deliberately promotes social connection, which is vital for wellbeing,” said Mr Wood.
Providence’s flagship project, the 244-home Piara Waters Lifestyle Resort, last year won two UDIA WA Awards for Excellence 2025, recognised for its innovative approach to creating vibrant, connected spaces for early retirees and downsizers.
The Group’s Henley Brook Lifestyle Resort and Mandurah Lifestyle Resort have recently welcomed their first homeowners and plans are underway to roll out three more resorts in Wattle Grove, Haynes, and Vasse.
“Providence Lifestyle Group is excited to be at the forefront of revolutionising the land lease community model in WA and providing enhanced lifestyle options for downsizers and rightsizers, helping to ease Perth’s housing supply issue,” said Mr Wood.
Providence Resorts have no entry or exit fees, and home purchases are not subject to stamp duty. Homeowners on a pension are also eligible for Commonwealth Rent Assistance.
