A village and caravan park in Perth’s southeast has sold following a campaign that generated multiple offers.
Hillside Garden Village, with 200 licensed short and long-stay sites, including caravan sites, self-contained units and powered sites, was purchased by Eureka Villages for $22.15m.
The property is situated on a 9.11 hectare site set in natural bushland at 270 South Western Highway in Mount Richon, 25 kilometres southeast of the Perth CBD.
It was sold following an ‘Offers Invited’ campaign run by Knight Frank’s Tony Delich and Empire Commercial Property’s Craig White on behalf of local private syndicate.
Mr Delich said: “This property is arguably one of Perth’s finest short/long stay villages and caravan parks.
“It has high occupancy and is underpinned by a massive landbank of nine hectares and location in the tranquil foothills just outside of Armadale.
“The off-market campaign attracted multiple offers with the successful buyer being our valued client Eureka Group Holdings Ltd.
“Knight Frank, through its strong track record in selling caravan parks, has identified many clients keen to purchase well located and run accommodation villages and tourist parks given they provide an affordable option to occupiers in the current high-cost housing and rental market.”
Mr White said: “Hillside Garden Village is a well-established village and caravan park with an impressive trading history giving the buyer a profitable income.
“However the significant landholding also offers future redevelopment potential if desired, with the property currently zoned for residential uses.
“In addition to 200 licensed sites, Hillside Garden Village has modern amenities including ablution blocks, a carwash bay, a swimming pool and a social club, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for guests.
“Its strategic location near Armadale Central Shopping Precinct and public transport enhances its appeal, making it a convenient choice for travellers and permanent residents.”
