New Chapter Begins for Diggers Rest

Diggers Rest’s first-ever land lease community has celebrated a major milestone with the grand opening of its display homes, ushering in a new era of over-50s living for the region. 

Featuring six architecturally designed homes, AVID Property Group’s (AVID) Vantage Bloomdale community showcased the very best of modern, low maintenance living in a resort-style setting with more than 130 visitors touring the homes during its opening weekend.  

AVID General Manager Victoria Penelope Forrest described the event as a key milestone in the growth of the Vantage Bloomdale community. 

“The opening of our display homes represents a significant step forward for Vantage Bloomdale,” Ms Forrest said. 

“It’s been incredibly rewarding for our team to showcase our vision and the quality of homes we’re delivering. We’re proud to be the first community of its kind in Diggers Rest and to be emerging as one of the most preeminent in the region.” 

Featuring interiors by Arkee Creative, the six display homes provide a first look at the sophisticated design aesthetic that will also define The Clubhouse, the soon-to-open centerpiece of the neighborhood, curated by the same renowned design team. 

Guests and future residents were led on guided tours of all six homes by the Vantage Bloomdale team, offering a genuine insight into the functional floorplans, generous spaces and thoughtfully designed layouts tailored for downsizers.  

The tours also highlighted the shared Clubhouse amenities which serve as an extension of residents’ homes, including a crafts room, swimming pool, residents’ lounge, theatre, gym and more. 

Ms Forrest said the display homes were a perfect example of the thoughtful design and masterplanned vision that set Vantage Bloomdale apart from traditional residential offerings.
