Celestino Receives Green Light for Glossodia Masterplanned Community, Jacaranda
4 September 2025
Australian-owned family developer, Celestino, has received DA approval from the Hawkesbury City Council for the first two stages of their 300-lot masterplanned residential community, Jacaranda, at 103 Spinks Road, Glossodia.
With uniquely oversized lot sizes ranging from quarter-acre to a full acre, the project will offer a rare opportunity for residents to experience the luxury of space within Hawkesburyâs newest masterplanned community set amongst a picturesque bushland setting.
Jacaranda will blend seamlessly with nature, thanks to 160 acres of surrounding green spaces, including a seven-acre lake within a lake park, complete with wetlands, playgrounds, multi-use courts, multiple outdoor gym equipment zones, a kiosk selling food, light refreshments and other small convenience items, community spaces such as BBQ facilities and shelters, and ball game areas, all linked by a continuous walking path.
A separate securely fenced dog park will allow dog owners to enjoy a designated off leash play area for their pets. Divided into sections for different dog sizes, it will include shaded seating areas for owners to socialise, as well as water stations and dog-friendly features, such as agility equipment and natural obstacles, creating an engaging environment for dogs to exercise and interact.
A walking path will link residents to the existing Currency Creek riparian corridor, where a series of meeting places are located within the park, including a Central Village Green, and two adjacent Village Green areas with a central play area, exercise areas and picnic shelters with seating, where the community can relax and enjoy the natural setting. Large open space turfed areas will be used as informal sports fields for cricket, football or simply running around.
The masterplan includes two large, designated nature conservation areas, accessible by pathways. Featuring Cumberland Plain Woodland, they will not only increase the biodiversity of the area but will also provide residents additional opportunities to be amongst nature.
Each lot will have access to a pressure sewer, recycled and potable water, electricity and the NBN.
While purchasers will have the freedom to choose their preferred architect and builder to deliver their dream homes, design guidelines will be followed to strengthen the built form outcome of the community, ensure general cohesion, and maximise the rural aesthetic of the area.
Residents will have quick access to convenience retail with the Glossodia Shopping Village a three-minute drive away. Immediately adjacent is the Glossodia Public School, a preschool, community centre and Woodbury Reserve, which is an activated community recreation space currently receiving a significant upgrade.
Full-line supermarkets are within a 10-minute drive with Coles and Aldi at North Richmond, and Woolworths at Windsor.
Celestinoâs CEO, Matthew Scard, said residents will experience a unique lifestyle that combines the tranquillity of nature with the comforts and conveniences of contemporary living.
âItâs not just the generous house lots, elevated views, and expansive lakeside parkland spaces that makes Jacaranda so special. The masterplan has been especially designed to foster a warm and welcoming neighbourhood, where residents can come together to share meals, stories, and good times.
âWhether it is a neighbourhood barbecue, or a game of backyard cricket, thereâll always be plenty of space to do something and someone to do it with.
âIn delivering Jacaranda, weâre proud to play a significant role in addressing the crucial need for future housing supply in the Hawkesbury and look forward to working closely with the Hawkesbury City Council to help them meet their Hawkesbury Local Housing Strategy and the future needs of the community.
âAs an Australian-owned family business with a proud history in western and north-western Sydney, we have a reputation for delivering well-planned and highly considered projects that complement local areas.
âWeâre very conscious that these developments need to be âof their placeâ and respect the existing look and feel of the area, so weâll be ensuring the new homes maintain and preserve the character of this special region,â added Matthew.
Jacarandaâs first land release in late 2025 will feature a limited selection of generously sized quarter-acre to a full acre blocks.
