Minuzzo secures permit for $50M state-of-the-art medical centre in Woodville South, SA
24 January 2025
Family-owned South Australian developer, Minuzzo has secured a permit for an architecturally-designed medical centre at 7-9 Woodville Road, Woodville South, South Australia.
The $50M centre is designed by SMFA Architects and positioned opposite the recently redeveloped Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Construction of the sustainably-focused development, to be titled ‘Woodville Specialist Centre’, will shortly commence and is due for completion in 2026.
The 4,087sqm centre will include four levels of purpose-built medical facilities and two basement level car parks, along with retail and consulting spaces on the ground floor.
Sandro Peluso, Kai Wang of CBRE Healthcare & Social Infrastructure, together with Michael Pfitzner and Georgia Turner of CBRE Adelaide are managing the leasing of the building via an Expressions of Interest campaign.
Mr Peluso said the fit-out of the medical levels can be adapted to suit a wide range of uses including a day hospital, radiology, and pathology.
“Along with the $314 million investment in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital redevelopment, this new multi-storey specialist medical centre is part of an important plan to improve healthcare and meet the significant demand for these services in Adelaide’s western suburbs,” he said.
Mr Wang said the centre was ideally located for specialist tenants already associated with the hospital.
“With limited new developments in the precinct, we are expecting significant interest from potential tenants looking to secure a place in this prime location,” he said.
A rare opportunity to secure a lease the purpose-built Woodville Specialist Centre is expected to draw significant interest from both international and Australian medical specialists.
