OSK Property has appointed construction company Multiplex, and broken ground this week on BLVD, the latest tower within OSK Propertyâs $3 billion Melbourne Square precinct.
Multiplex, which also built the first two towers in Stage 1 of Melbourne Square, will now commence construction of the 74-storey tower, starting in July and expected to be completed in Q1 2028. This milestone comes just nine months after BLVDâs official launch in October 2023.
Having achieved over 50 percent of sales, construction commencing at BLVD marks another significant moment for Melbourne Square, which has already enhanced the Southbank precinct with publicly accessible amenities like a 3,745sqm park, full-line Woolworths supermarket, an early learning centre and a growing range of retail destinations.
BLVD will deliver much-needed residential stock to Southbank, bringing together 602 residences, and offering a host of amenities including private dining rooms, state-of-the-art gyms, a 25m indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna, golf simulator, entertainment and lounge spaces, and a double-storey co-working area on levels 55 and 56.
Beyond its architectural grandeur, BLVD embodies a commitment to sustainability and wellbeing, featuring carbon-neutral operation-enabled residences, gas-free design, EV charging stations, a zen garden, other premium resident amenities, and design thatâs focused on improving the health and wellness of residents.
It is also in pre-registration to pursue WELL Certification â a rating system that certifies a buildingâs impact on health and wellbeing, and that demonstrates industry excellence in meeting stringent sustainability goals.
