‘Logan and Trafalgar’ major site in Woolloongabba come to market

One of the most strategically positioned development sites in the Woolloongabba renewal precinct will come to market in the coming weeks.

The site ‘Logan and Trafalgar’ at 42 Logan Rd and 7-11 Trafalgar Street Woolloongabba offers dual street frontages in the heart of the urban renewal precinct and offers favourable mixed-use zoning

JLL Queensland Head of Metropolitan Sales and Investments, Tim Jones alongside colleague Harry Borger have been appointed to divest the 3419sqm* amalgamated corner site zoned for 20 storeys as of right (subject to council approval).

Mr Jones said the significant site had been owned by a local Brisbane family for more than 30 years.

“The owners have decided to sell following recent announcements confirming the future of the Gabba Stadium which is set to be rebuilt following an a $2.7billion agreement between State and Federal government,” he said.

Mr Jones said the site is located in a short walk from the $1.2 billion Station Square development announced last week, adjacent to the Gabba Stadium which will play host to the 2032 Olympic Games and the forthcoming Cross River Rail Station which is scheduled to open in late 2024 and connect Woolloongabba to the Brisbane CBD.

“’Logan & Trafalgar’ is at the epicentre of the most transformative precinct in Southeast Queensland with Woolloongabba recently tipped as Australia best investment location,” he said

“The Government’s aim is to transform the Gabba precinct into a vibrant mixed-use hub. Urban renewal of the Gabba precinct can be an obvious Olympic legacy and this landmark site has the opportunity to not only create an iconic backdrop to the games but also address the clear need for residential accommodation in the inner city,” Mr Jones said.

The forthcoming Cross River Rail station is schedule to open in 2024 which will connect Woolloongabba to the CBD & Roma Street via a new 5.9km* underground tunnel will provide the ‘Logan & Trafalgar’ site with a rail connection.
