ISPT’s 16-storey boutique office at 271 Spring Street, Melbourne, has been awarded the As-Built 6 Star Green Star certification by the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA).
The building was designed to meet 5 star certification, and now been delivered as a 6 star through:
- A 63.64kW rooftop solar PV panel installation, saving 46 metric tonnes of CO2 per annum
- A 28% reduction in water consumption and a 44% reduction in energy consumption compared to minimum requirements
- Diversion of more than 90% of construction and demolition waste from landfill
Australian Unity pre-leased the tower and worked with ISPT and builder Probuild to achieve a fully integrated fitout, reducing unnecessary construction waste.
